Product Selection
Choosing the right measurement solution for your application
How do I choose between NIR and microwave moisture measurement?
The right technology depends on the material, moisture range, product thickness, installation point and process conditions. NIR measurement is non-contact and is often suitable for moving sheets, coatings and materials where surface moisture represents the process condition. Microwave measurement provides greater penetration and is commonly used for bulk solids, bales, powders, granules, slurries and selected liquid applications. MOSYE evaluates the application before recommending a technology.
What measurement performance can I expect for my application?
Measurement performance depends on the material, measuring range, composition, installation conditions, reference method and quality of calibration. MOSYE reviews these factors and defines an application-specific performance target before the project is confirmed. Final performance should be verified using representative samples and a consistent laboratory or reference method under actual operating conditions.
Can MOSYE instruments integrate with existing PLC or DCS systems?
Yes. Depending on the model and configuration, MOSYE instruments can support industrial outputs and communication options such as 4-20 mA, 1-5 V, RS485, RS232 and Modbus RTU. Measurement data can be connected with PLC, DCS or other plant-management systems for monitoring, trending, alarms and process support. Integration requirements should be confirmed during product selection.
What certifications and protection options are available?
MOSYE operates under an ISO 9001 certified quality-management system. Depending on the product model, options may include CE compliance, IP-rated enclosures and explosion-proof configurations for selected hazardous-area applications. Available certifications, protection ratings, materials and temperature or pressure limits vary by model and must be confirmed for each project.
Can MOSYE evaluate my material or application before purchase?
Yes. Customers can provide material information, expected measurement range, process conditions, installation details and current reference data for an initial application review. Where necessary, MOSYE may also evaluate representative samples or arrange application testing. Sample quantity, testing method, shipping requirements, cost and expected results are confirmed before testing begins. Demonstrations or trial measurements are considered according to the application and project scope.
Installation, Calibration & Commissioning
Guidance for reliable installation, calibration and commissioning
Does MOSYE provide installation and commissioning support?
Yes. MOSYE provides installation instructions, wiring diagrams, configuration guidance and remote commissioning support. Depending on the project scope and location, on-site installation, commissioning or training may also be arranged. On-site services, travel and related expenses may be charged separately and should be confirmed in the sales contract.
What site conditions should be considered before installation?
Important factors include the material being measured, expected measurement range, process temperature, pressure where applicable, dust, vibration, available installation space and the selected measurement point. For conveyor applications, material flow, belt loading and measurement distance should also be evaluated. Power supply, signal connection, cable routing and hazardous-area requirements must be confirmed before installation.
How often should calibration be verified or updated?
There is no single calibration interval for every application. Performance should be checked periodically against a consistent laboratory or reference method. Calibration may need to be reviewed when the material source, composition, moisture or concentration range, installation position or process conditions change significantly. MOSYE can recommend a verification schedule based on the application.
Can plant personnel perform calibration and verification?
Yes. Trained plant personnel can perform routine verification and, for many applications, calibration using the operating instructions and reference data provided by MOSYE. Reliable reference samples and a consistent laboratory method are important. For initial calibration, major material changes or complex applications, remote or on-site support from MOSYE may be recommended.
What factors affect installation and commissioning time?
The schedule depends on the product configuration, application complexity, sample-testing or calibration requirements, site readiness, mounting work, electrical connections and integration with existing PLC or DCS systems. Shipping destination and the need for on-site support may also affect the timeline. MOSYE confirms the expected schedule after reviewing the application and site conditions.
After-Sales Support & Maintenance
Support for operation, troubleshooting and long-term performance
What warranty coverage is provided with MOSYE products?
MOSYE products are generally covered by a 12-month warranty, subject to the terms of the sales contract. During the warranty period, faults caused by manufacturing or product-quality issues under normal operating conditions will be repaired or the affected parts replaced at no charge. Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, unauthorized modification, external conditions or human factors is not covered.
How do I request technical support after purchase?
Contact MOSYE by email or WhatsApp and provide the product model, serial number, application details and a description of the issue. Photos, videos, alarm messages and recent process conditions can help our technical team diagnose the problem more efficiently. We typically respond within 1-2 business days, with urgent production issues prioritized where possible.
How are replacement parts and repairs handled?
MOSYE first evaluates the issue through remote diagnosis. If repair or replacement is required, our team will confirm the appropriate parts and service procedure. Confirmed product-quality issues within the warranty period are handled according to the warranty terms. Parts, repairs and shipping outside the warranty scope may be charged separately. Availability and delivery time depend on the product model and destination.
Does MOSYE provide operation and basic maintenance training?
Yes. MOSYE provides operating instructions, calibration guidance and basic maintenance training through manuals, videos and remote technical sessions. On-site training may also be arranged depending on the project scope, location and service requirements, and additional charges may apply.
What information should I provide when reporting a fault?
Please provide the product model and serial number, installation location, material being measured, process conditions, fault description, alarm or error messages, and any relevant photos or videos. It is also helpful to explain when the issue began and what checks have already been completed. This information allows our technical team to evaluate the problem and recommend the next step more efficiently.
